• 1940 Founding of WECO Inkasso
• 1972 Taken over by the former SKA
• 1996 Merged with Invoca AG, Bern (former SVB subsidiary)
• 2007 Founding of Alphapay AG (Swisscom debt collection spin-off)
• 2009 Purchase of WECO Inkasso through Swisscom and merger with Alphapay

Current facts (status April 2011)

• Alphapay is a Swisscom subsidiary
• The team comprises 100 people spread over the locations Zurich, Fribourg, Geneva and Bellinzona
• Alphapay is active in all Swiss cantons
• In collaboration with specialized agencies, we have a network of local personal representations in 53 countries (including 30 in Europe)
